Authors Speak: Myriad

It is not true that we have only one life to live; if we can read, we can live as many more lives and as many kinds of lives as we wish. ~ S. I. Hayakawa The Succeed and Soar Authors Speak series invites writers to answer questions about their artforms and special inspirations. Welcomeย Joshua David Bellinย  Josh,ย what phrase inspires your writing and life? Iโ€™m writing a first draft and reminding myself that Iโ€™m simply shoveling sand into a box so that later I can build castles. Shannon Hale Josh, share how these words helped your writing, your life.ย  Oftentimes, itโ€™s the overly high expectations we put on ourselves as writers that prevent us from getting started.
