Quilt [Wall Art]: Bird of Paradise

Bird of Paradise is the name of a traditional quilt square. Here, it is enlarged and interpreted with red and tan corduroy and midnight blue velvet embroidered with stars and rose buds.  The hand-beaded border is a one-of-a-kind design created for this quilt.  The four-color, yarn tassels (directional guardians) are handmade.  The back of the quilt is a pastel, geometric pattern and includes a sleeve so that a rod can be inserted for display.  31.5” w x 34.5” h.  [rod not included]
