Succeed and Soar’s “Life Well Lived” series started four months ago with a photograph of baby grapes. Three promises were made. To share:
- Inspiring quotes
- Photographs of nature and
- The baby grapes at harvest time.
While countless infant grape clusters crammed my back porch arbor last spring, none remained two months later. By mid-summer, all I found were the last grapes pictured atop this post. They disappeared a day later. What happened?
Three years ago, the first time my bounty vanished overnight, I was told birds love that fruit. Each year, I plan to enjoy some grapes before the phantom birds [I’ve never seen them]. Each August, I say: Maybe next year. And, maybe I’ll see the birds that love my grapes.
